Intex launches Aqua Lions 3G smartphone priced at Rs 4,990

NEW DELHI: Indian smartphone maker Intex has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Aqua Lions 3G smartphone. Priced at Rs 4,990, Intex Aqua Lions 3G will be available in white, grey and champagne colour options.
The Intex Aqua Lions 3G sports a 5-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixels resolution. The handset is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It offers 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card. The device comes with dual dim functionality and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
The smartphone boasts a 5MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. The connectivity options in the handset include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The device is backed by a 3,500 mAh battery.
It comes loaded with the Gujarat Lions Official App for live updates on IPL. Intex is the title sponsor of Gujarat Lions for this season of IPL.
Recently, Intex launched an entry-level smartphone called Aqua G2 priced at Rs 1,990. The handset has a 2.8-inch TFT display with 240x320p resolution. The handset comes with dual-sim functionality and runs on Google's Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Powering the handset is a single-core processor paired with 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM with microSD card support of up to 16GB.
