NEW DELHI: It seems that Intex is on a launch spree. The Indian smartphone brand has launched yet another budget device. Dubbed Aqua Shine 4G, the smartphone is priced at Rs 7,699 and offers VoLTE support.
For specifications, the Aqua Shine 4G features a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixels resolution. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.2GHz. There's 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
The dual-sim smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing snapper for selfies. It offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options, with a 3,000 mAh battery rounding off the spec sheet.
Intex Aqua Shine 4G comes with some pre-loaded apps including Matrabhasha, Clean Master, the official app of Gujarat Lions, Freecharge, MobiKwik, Saavn and Opera.
Recently, Intex launched its first smartphone with a fingerprint sensor. Dubbed as Intex Aqua Secure, the smartphone is priced at Rs 6,499 and will be available in gold and grey colour options.
The Aqua Secure features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with 480x854 pixels resolution. Powering the handset is a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It offers 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
