The video showcases a typical long stretch of road where cars barely move an inch, stuck in the endless loop of moving steadily. This situation offered an inside perspective, the harsh reality of daily commuters in the heart of India that is Delhi.

Noida traffic woes

Noida, once planned as a modern-satellite city with wide roads and connectivity, is now facing increasing congestion due to population growth, poor connectivity and contradictory traffic management system. Bengaluru, the IT hub of India, has become a metaphor for what happens when a city’s IT boom outspaces its infrastructure.

Despite this light hearted chit-chat on various social media platforms, the underlying issues remain serious. Experts have time and again called for integrated transport systems, better road-planning, infrastructure and investment in public transport solutions.

The viral video, in a way, not just gave entertainment but also gave an insight into a national problem.
