Navratri has started, and Delhi is gearing up for the grand Ramlila and Dussehra Parva celebrations at the Red Fort grounds, set to run from September 22 to October 3, 2025. Reports anticipate thousands of devotees, visitors, and VIPs gathering each day. To ensure safety and smooth running of the events, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued advisory guidelines to help commuters navigate anticipated congestion in the area.
What to expect
The festivities will feature three major Ramlila performances, Lav Kush Ramlila, Nav Shri Dharmik Ramlila, and Shri Dharmik Ramlila, alongside amusement rides, food stalls, and cultural activities. The celebrations are set to draw substantial crowds, making nearby roads particularly slow-moving during the 12-day event.
