Char Dham Yatra 2025 to begin from April 30: Here’s how to register online and offline
April 30 will mark the beginning of the revered Char Dham Yatra 2025. It is also the auspicious day of Akshay Tritiya, as the portals of Yamunotri and Gangotri reopen. This revered pilgrimage spans four sacred sites—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath—all in Uttarakhand. Every year, lakhs of devotees set out on this spiritual sojourn in pursuit of divine blessings, and inner peace.
For easy access, the Uttarakhand government has established both online and offline registration procedures for pilgrims to provide a seamless and well-organized experience. Here are some of the important dates for the Char Dham Temples in 2025:
Register for an account: To register, enter a working email address and mobile number.
Enter details: Provide your entire name, age, gender, and address, among other personal details.
Add documents: A current passport-sized photo and a scanned copy of a government-issued photo ID (such as Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Voter ID) are required.
Choose days: Decide which days are best for you to visit each shrine.
Confirmation: After successful registration, download and print the e-pass or registration confirmation.
Multiple copies of the registration confirmation should be carried on the trip in order to be verified at different checkpoints.
