The 38th annual flower show, organized by the horticulture department of the Noida Authority, has already started and has come up with its biggest draw yet, which is a breathingly beautiful and grand floral model of the revered Kedarnath Temple. The floral installation, crafted entirely from fresh blossoms, recreates the iconic temple devoted to Lord Shiva. For those who have not yet travelled to Uttarakhand, it offers an opportunity to experience the essence of Kedarnath without leaving the city.

A 15-acre floral spectacle

Spread across more than 15 acres at the Shivalik Helipad Ground in Sector 33A, next to Noida Haat, the exhibition features around 120 varieties of flowers and plants. From vibrant seasonal blooms to carefully curated plant displays, the venue transforms into a riot of colour and fragrance.Officials expect the event to draw hundreds of thousands of visitors over the four-day run, with crowds anticipated not only from Noida but also neighbouring cities such as Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Delhi.Read more: 10 national parks around the world that aren’t about wildlifeAccording to Anand Mohan Singh, deputy director (horticulture), Noida Authority, nearly 80 artistes from Bengaluru have worked for over 10–15 days to bring the Kedarnath replica to life.
The theme for this year’s show centres around the famous shrine, which blends spirituality and horticultural artistry. While the Kedarnath replica is the headline attraction, the flower show offers much more such as artistic floral installations, decorative garden layouts, a garden competition featuring institutions, industries and private residences, on-the-spot landscaping demonstrations, food stalls, dedicated activity zones for children, and more. The exhibition also carries a larger message of environmental awareness and urban greenery, reflecting Noida’s diverse and growing population.

Why you should visit

This is not just a flower exhibition, it’s a visual spectacle and a weekend plan rolled into one. Families can stroll through themed gardens, couples can pose against the floral Kedarnath backdrop, and photographers can capture one-of-a-kind frames. And perhaps the biggest draw?
