Nandi Hills

An ancient hill fort in the Chikkaballapur district and also a popular hill station. It offers a pleasant climate, a beautiful sunrise and sunset, and a wide view of the surrounding landscape. These hills are mostly famous for being Tipu Sultan's summer palace. These hills have the fort of Tipu Sultan and a temple on top of the hill. At The Nandi Hills, visitors will find a diverse range of plants and animals, and some rare birds and butterflies are also found here. It is also a tourist favourite destination as one can go for trekking, bird watching, cycling, and paragliding here as well.

Bannerghatta National Park

t is located in the districts of Bengaluru and Ramanagara in Karnataka. It is also rich in biodiversity with dry deciduous forests, scrub, and rocky hills. It also has a zoo, a safari park, a butterfly park, and a rescue center for a more participative experience, hence it is a family place. The tourists get to enjoy bus safaris where they can see animals in their own habitat without any danger like lions, tigers, bears, elephants, gaurs, and deer species. The people who are wildlife or nature lovers have to visit this site.

Savandurga

One of the largest monolith hills of Asia, located in the Ramanagara district. Twin hills here, Karigudda (Black Hill) and Biligudda (White Hill), are a trekkers' and climbers' delight all over India. It is well known for its natural beauty and is an ideal spot for rock climbing, trekking, and rappelling. One may also go to the Arkavathi River, which flows here imparting beauty to the area, where the tourists also get to enjoy kayaking. The significance of this area is further enhanced by the presence of a couple of temples of Savandi Veerabhadraswamy and Narasimha here.

Ramadevara Betta

Locally known as Sholay Hills, since it was here that the iconic Bollywood movie Sholay was shot. This town is located in Ramanagara district with rock terrain and also offers excellent facilities for camping, rock climbing, and trekking. One can also visit the popular sites such as the famous temple located here known as the Ramadevara Betta Temple and the Silk Cocoon Market, which showcases the town's long-established sericulture tradition. Adventure seekers must visit this place, for it offers rocky terrain and the chance to enjoy the nature that is around it.

Manchanabele Reservoir

A calm waterbody located in Ramanagara district's Magadi taluk and roughly 42 kilometers from Bengaluru. This location is surrounded by hills and vegetation on all sides. Here, individuals can also enjoy calm boat rides and kayaking and also delve into bird watching and nature walks. The calm and soothing environment of this spot makes it an excellent spot to unwind from the city life and participate in the outdoor activities.
