Sculptures and statues too are amazing artworks that are made and carved with elaborate details. They're made by some of the most talented artists who shape them with great care. What makes them beautiful is the small touches that are personalized. It could be the curves, the expressions, or even the textures that just bring them to life.
Be it huge statues or small sculptures, all of them tell stories and show emotions, and the way these sculptures look and feel can take your breath away.

Moai

The Moai are massive human figures sculpted by the Rapa Nui people on Easter Island between 1250 and 1500. They stand as symbols of deified ancestors. Most were carved at Rano Raraku and moved to stone platforms around the island. Despite having no legs and boasting oversized heads, these statues, nearly 900 in number, were a remarkable feat of creativity and physical effort. The tallest, Paro, reached almost 33 feet and weighed around 90 tons, showcasing the incredible craftsmanship of the Rapa Nui civilization.

Moses in church of San Pietro

Another gem by the very skilled Michelangelo is housed in the Church of San Pietro in Vincoli, Italy. Michelangelo's sculpture of Moses is a striking depiction of the biblical figure. With a strong face, body, and posture that exudes power and authority, Moses’s sculpture is carved from marble. Moses sits within the tomb of Pope Julius II and the detailing on it is very beautiful. The flowing beard and muscular physique are truly a gem.
