Soaking in the colours of spring in aapnu Amdavad
With spring bringing about a burst of vibrant colours in aapnu Amdavad, citizens are soaking in the mesmerising charm of colourful flowers of different shades in various corners of the city. Be it Cherry blossoms, Bougainvillea or lilacs, our celebs love these flowers. Dressed in their fashionable best during this much-awaited time of the year, they accompanied us to celebrate the city’s picturesque transformation.

Sporting a cute pastel pink chikankari dress, Netri Trivedi enjoyed a pleasant morning under pink trumpet trees in Makarba. She shares, “I was mesmerised to see so many blossomed pink trumpet trees together in Ahmedabad. I love spring as it is very breezy and poetic. Everything is so colourful after a dull phase and the season brings a lot of positive vibes. I feel happy and it seems things will get better. My wardrobe doesn’t really have anything specific for spring. I love wearing frocks and shorts, basically comfortable clothes. Loose shirts and pants become an option for informal meetings. I love opting for bright and lively colour combinations like yellow and pink.”

Bougainvillea flowers are quite common in Ahmedabad and it has beautiful colour combinations of hot pink, red, pastel pink, orange, white and yellow. Dressed in a vibrant hot pink high neck cut-out dress with a dash of blue, Denisha Ghumra looked stunning against pink bougainvillea. She says, “Spring makes me feel optimistic and lively as it has its own energy and vibe. It is the season of beauty and colour. I love wearing bright, colourful and breezy pastel outfits, depending on how I feel. I usually opt for light material flowy dresses.”

How can one forget about the sun-kissed colour orange during spring? Fiery yet delicate, the colour is seen in bougainvillea, palash, Gulmohar etc. Flaunting a cute orange and white flowery summer dress in front of orange Bougainvillea, Maulika Patel shares, “It is quite pleasant during spring and the city becomes vibrant with blooming flowers, which are a treat to the eyes. I love wearing lively and colourful clothes; cotton kurtas, dresses, shorts, wide-leg jeans with crop tops are my spring outfits. I also experiment with layers sometimes.”
I have a spring personality: Shivani Joshi
Sporting a chic lilac and white floral co-ord set paired with purple block heels near Tabebuia trees, Shivani Joshi says, “Spring has a magical vibe and I love its warm days, bright sunshine, blooming flowers and vibrant colours. I believe I have a spring personality as this season makes me feel positive and energetic. I believe change is the only constant and spring brings about that change in a beautiful, organic manner, making me feel excited for the year ahead. My spring wardrobe has light flowy material and a soft palette of colours. I love monochrome sets with patterns and prints in similar hues. High waist pants and crop tops, co-ord sets, shorts with flowy sleeve tops are my favourites. A light jacket is my wardrobe essential and linens are my favourite. Open toe sandals with some heels are my go-to footwear, with some delicate hoop earrings to complete the look. I love to style myself in hues of pink, peach, lime, white and mauve.”
