Rinku Singh’s devotional date: Ganga Aarti with fiancée Priya
Cricketer Rinku Singh soaked in the spiritual essence of Varanasi as he visited the city on Tuesday. The left-handed middle-order batter was accompanied by his politico fiancée, Priya Saroj, as they visited Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Later in the evening, the couple proceeded to the Dashshwamedh Ghat to witness the iconic Ganga Aarti organised by Ganga Seva Nidhi. The captivating ceremony, marked by synchronised chants, rhythmic bells, and the glow of oil lamps, left the duo visibly captivated. Eyewitnesses noted that Rinku Singh spent time soaking in the spiritual ambience. The couple also performed a puja by making offerings to the river Ganga. The president of Ganga Seva Nidhi, Sushant Mishra, honoured them with a memento and prasad.
Priya also shared glimpses of their visit on her social media account, where she was also seen enjoying the beautiful view of the ghats from a boat. She wrote, “Kashi, Mahadev ki dharti aur Ganga ka pavan sang.”
