Shane Warne started it, and though he’s not there with Team Rajasthan anymore, his legacy continues with Pinky. Last IPL, Warnie devised a way to punish players who didn’t follow rules or were late – carry a pink raggedy-Ann doll all the time – in the team bus, plane, or on the grounds – till another player made a mistake and the doll was passed on to that player.

It was Warne who named her ‘Pinky’ and inducted her into the team. Now, even though Pinky is being put to use, she’s been difficult to click.
Finally, it was Brad Hogg who gave our lensman a lovely day by holding Pinky and bravely walking out of Jaipur airport after their match against Bangalore. “Hogg was late for a practice match. As the rule goes, he needs to carry it wherever he goes, even parties,” a source said. “Kevon Cooper also got his share of carrying Pinky when he didn’t follow the dress code during the pool session,” added the source, “Players find it embarrassing to carry Pinky.” But if we are to believe his boys, captain Rahul Dravid will never get Pinky.
“Rahul bhai is the first to hit the gym and the first to sit in the bus,” Sreesanth said.
