A precious collection of frames spotlighting diverse charms of “God’s Own Country’ as a fascinating experiential destination will be on display in the city in the next three days as Kerala Tourism Department opened its landmark all-India Photo Exhibition ‘Lenscape Kerala’ at the Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery today.

Actor Rajshri Deshpande and filmmaker Mangesh Joshi inaugurated the exhibition, featuring 100 curated frames shot in Kerala by 10 leading travel and media photographers of the country. The ten photographers who are part of the project are: H Satish, Kounteya Sinha, Shivang Mehta, Saibal Das, Umesh Gogna, Saurabh Chatterjee, Natasha Kartar Hemrajani, Aishwarya Sridhar, Amit Pasricha, Manoj Arora

The exhibition is curated by eminent art curator and critic Uma Nair. Renowned wildlife and conservation photographer Balan Madhavan is the Director of Photography. More than featuring Kerala as a destination, the exhibition captures vivid images of the state’s landscape, culture and memory, as seen by the participating photographers.
