Who is Stormy Daniels?
Stormy Daniels is an adult film star, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford. She has also appeared in some Hollywood films and dabbled in politics. Stormy has been at the centre of this trial in which she took the stand and shared details about the alleged sexual encounter between her and Trump, and what led to the hush-money payment. She was reportedly paid $130,000 for her silence before the 2016 presidential election.

Trump has been a leading contender in the 2024 US presidential election, and remains eligible to run for president. This is because of the US Constitution's three qualifications for presidential candidates - 35 years old and above, natural-born US citizen, and US resident for at least 14 years.
