The Ganpati decoration at Hardik Joshi's home is a forest-themed one this time. The actor tells us that his prayer to Ganpati Bappa this time is all about harmonious celebrations and the decor is inspired by it. "Celebrations, especially Ganeshotsav, aren't just about bringing Bappa home, celebrating among yourselves and doing the visarjan. They are also about being socially aware," says the Tujhyat Jeev Rangala actor.

Hardik, who will soon be seen in the upcoming film Aranya as a Naxal who is on a quest to give his daughter a better life, also highlights the reason why Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav began. He shares, "The idea was to celebrate the unity and culture together. That everyone should live in peace and harmony, respect each other, stay true to ourselves and shed differences. I would like to add the environmental perspective too here, considering everything that's going on around us today. I genuinely feel that Ganeshotsav is as much a responsibility as it is a celebration." He adds, "We need to imbibe the values of responsible celebrations, unity and truthfulness in the next generation and I feel festivals are the best time to do that."
