Festivities are incomplete without food. And Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chaturthi brings with it a plethora of dishes that are relished during the 10-day festival, whether it’s ukdiche modak, ladoo, kadubu, or payasam. Here are some dishes to take note of, as we are about to start the festive season with Ganesh Chaturthi.

These sweet, rice flour steamed dumplings, filled with a mixture of jaggery, and coconut is considered to be Lord Ganesha's favourite food.
