Lord Hanuman

Lord Hanuman, the devotee of Lord Ram and ‘Anjani putr’ is a devotee even before he is a God to us all. He is the epitome of devotion, sincerity, love, and dedication, and spent his life in the wing of Lord Ram and Lakshman, and Mata Sita. From fetching the Sanjeevani booti to help cure Lakshman, to setting Lanka on fire, Lord Hanuman did everything like a good devotee serving his Lord.

The immortal God

Lord Hanuman is also the immortal God, a Chiranjeevi, and he was blessed by Lord Ram himself to keep a watch on his devotees, the humans, and answer their prayers, pleas, and calls. It is said that Lord Hanuman lives the closest to Earth, and is always on watch to help his devotees and attend every Ram katha where the name of his Lord is taken.

3/6

The powerful mantras - Hanuman Chalisa

And in the mantras dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the most famous one is the Hanuman Chalisa. Written by Tulsidas ji, it is a 40 verse hymn in Awadhi and is recited by little children, young adults, and even the older people in everyday worship of Lord Hanuman.
It is said and believed that chanting the Hanuman Chalisa helps remove fear, anxiety, and negativity in people, and also protects against evil spirits and planetary obstacles. Many people recite the Hanuman Chalisa 11 times everyday, and say that it helps instill courage within.

4/6

Bajrang Baan

Another powerful mantra dedicated to Lord Hanuman is the Bajran Baan. It is also the prayer which some people are hesitant to recite owing to some words inside the prayer that are considered harsh.
The Bajrang baan is said to be one of the most powerful invocations of Lord Hanuman and is advised to only be used when in the worst of scenarios or when you need immediate protection in life. It is said that the words of Bajrang baan helps people remove evil forces from their life, and also helps them gain a sense of strength and assurance that Lord Hanuman is with them.

5/6

Panchmukhi Hanuman kavach

The Panchmukhi Hanuman kavacham is another mantra dedicated to the 5-faced roop of Lord Hanuman.
It refers to the different weapons that the different faces of Lord Hanuman carry with them, and how each one is used to slay and remove evil from the world and from the life of the devotee.

6/6

The power in these mantras

Each of these mantras are recited to get rid of one or the other problem in life. And while the mantras for Lord Hanuman are as easy as ‘Om hum Hanumate Namah’, and this too carries immense energies, it is the Hanuman Chalisa, Bajrang Baan, and Panchmukhi Hanuman Kavacham that are believed to help people get rid of evil, have a sense of peace in life, and feel protected by Lord Hanuman.
