For lovers, spending time apart is always a little difficult—even more so on Valentine’s Day. While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were miles away from each other on this special occasion, Meghan made sure to commemorate the day in a heartfelt way.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, took to Instagram to share a never-before-seen photo with her husband, 40, marking the holiday despite the distance. As Prince Harry remains in Canada supporting the Invictus Games, Meghan returned to California earlier this week to be with their two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3. The black-and-white photo captures the couple sharing a kiss during their meal.

Along with the photo, Meghan also wrote a lengthy caption, which goes like this, "Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families. Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created."
"My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever," she continued. "Thank you for you." Meghan ended the note with the hashtag #lovewins and, "As ever, M." Harry is set to stay in Canada until the sporting event concludes on February 16.
Meghan and Prince Harry launched the Invictus Games together, attending the opening ceremony and multiple events in the early days of the adaptive sports competition, which the Duke of Sussex established in 2014 for service members and veterans.
In an interview with the People, Harry said, “To have my wife here supporting me is amazing. I love that she’s by my side. It’s such an important piece to this whole adventure."

With Love, Meghan, her participation reinforced that she and Harry remain aligned, with family as her top priority.
Although Prince Harry and Meghan are spending Valentine’s Day apart, they seemingly celebrated early with a double date alongside Michael Bublé and his wife, Luisana Lopilato. On February 10, the couples enjoyed dinner at the Italian restaurant Il Caminetto in Whistler, as reported by
