Men always wonder about the fact—why am I still single? Even if men do not talk about their emotions a lot, they do feel lonely at times when love and the presence of a partner are devoid in their life. Whether it is about their self-esteem or lack of trust in their life, some men can’t seem to commit themselves to a relationship stable enough to retain it. But why is it that some men are still single? Let’s take a look at some of the reasons.
Not taking care of themselves
When men don’t take care of themselves at all, it becomes a huge negative point. Women don’t like to be with people who can’t take care of their health, appearance and major life aspects. Those who make no effort to get their life in order can be relatively unattractive to women.
Low self-esteem
A man who isn’t confident about himself or his choices is not someone women would want to be associated with. Confidence is a very attractive trait that can be a winning factor while looking for potential partners. Men can correct their posture, walking style, pronunciation etc. because this all matters a lot when it comes to improving one’s self-esteem.
Poor flirting skills
Men with poor flirting skills are often seen as lame or weird. Since they can’t communicate smoothly with people regarding dating or relationships, they end up confusing people and weirding them out. For some, flirting comes quite naturally but other people struggle with even a single pickup line.
Being too introverted
Breaking into an introvert’s shell is not easy at all. There are times when it can get too frustrating because the person won’t open up at all. An introvert loses out on opportunities of being in a relationship when they can’t communicate properly with the person. And this is a major reason why some men remain single!
Being too picky
It is quite an interesting fact to know that men can be really picky with their choices, as compared to women! Some men can’t get into a relationship because they are too choosy and demanding of the qualities they want in their partner. And nobody likes to be with a person who is too picky!
Bad experiences from past relationships
The pain, hurt and betrayal from past relationships leave a scar in men’s hearts. No matter how strong they may appear to be, they usually can’t get over the bad experiences from their past relationships. Hence, they find a lot of difficulty in getting into a new relationship where they eventually deal with a lot of insecurities and trust issues.
