Love 2.0: Finding love after a heartbreak

Getting over a broken relationship itself is a difficult task and depending on how it ended, it can change a person’s perception about love. No matter how intense the pain of heartbreak might be, but one thing we cannot stop doing is looking for love, isn’t it? Just like there is light at the end of the tunnel, there will be love awaiting for all after a period of pain and disbelief. All we need is a little time and a whole lot of patience. And if we need inspiration, we can always look at the greatest love stories of our time and people like Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora and others who have proved once and for all that you can find love even after a heartbreak.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh

When we talk about finding love after a broken relationship, the first name that comes to our mind is Deepika Padukone. When Deepika was in love with Ranbir Kapoor, the couple made no bones about it and they seemed quite comfortable making their relationship public. And let’s not forget, Deepika even got the famous ‘RK’ tattoo done on her nape. And when they had a break-up, it became national news. People could not stop talking for years. But then something magical happened. Deepika met Ranveer Singh and there were some unmistakable sparks between them. And last year, they got married and almost reinstated out faith in fairy tale love.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan

When Kareena Kapoor Khan played the role of bubbly and cheerful Geet in ‘Jab We Met’, her fans hardly had any idea that the much-talked couple of Bollywood, Kareena and Shahid Kapoor, would part ways after the movie. And when Bebo and Sasha’s break-up became public, young lovers across the country mourned the end of a love story that inspired them. But they say, time is the biggest healer and both Kareena and Shahid found love again. Kareena, who had more than once admitted that she had a crush on Saif Ali Khan, was surprised to find that the Nawab of Pataudi was in love with her and when he proposed marriage in the most romantic way, Bebo was swept off her feet.

Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor

The once exemplary power couple of Bollywood, Malaika Arora and Arbaz Khan’s love story is something every 90s kid can relate to. Both were in the peak of their careers when they were called for a commercial photo shoot of a coffee brand. They had once told in an interview that it was love at first sight and after a long courtship of five years, they finally got married. So, when they announced that they are getting a divorce it almost sounded like a joke but it was true. They parted ways. But love returned in Malaika’s life as Arjun Kapoor. As they started dropping hints about their relationship, not everyone reacted positively. While some attacked their age difference, others criticised Malaika for falling in love too quickly. But that’s what love is all about—you never know when you will fall in love, right?

Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades

Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jesia, the supermodels of the 90s, were the ideal couple during their times. And when they tied the knot in 1998 after being in love for years, it seemed like the perfect marriage. Unfortunately, like all good things, their conjugal life also came to an end after twenty years of being married. But Arjun fell in love again and this time with model-designer Gabriella Demetriades. And before they made their relationship public, the posts and pictures they shared on social media spoke volume about the love they have for each other and recently they welcomed their first child.
