How to make him worry about you

There are so many things that we tend to turn a blind eye to, only to regret later. Not just men, anyone would start taking you for granted if you are there for them around the clock, it is human nature. But in a relationship, this is poison for the one on the receiving end. If your man is taking you for granted, here are things you ought to do.

Keep him from thinking that you will always come around no matter how he behaves. You must tell him and let him know that you are prepared to walk away and not be desperate to stay as your life depends on him. However, talk to him first and understand what he is thinking and how he sees you together.

If you think he is taking you for granted then it is time to let him know that he cannot! In many cases, people do not realise what their actions could indicate. To make him realise this, keep your communication to a bare minimum and create a distance. This will also give him time to think about you and put his thoughts together. Do not answer his texts and quit calling him because this is definitely going to draw his attention.

It is not selfish to think and prioritise yourself first. Take care of yourself first because only then can you take care of others. If you feel that he is not giving and reciprocating your love with that same intensity then dial it down and shower yourself with all that love. Stop doing so much work to make him love you the way you do.

Let him know that he is not your only option and that your world does not revolve around him. You may be in a relationship but you are not obliged to him. Speak up about your feelings and make it clear to him that you are not bound to him in any way.

To make him realise that he is not your world, you must stop giving him that impression in the first place. Once you stop giving him that impression, he might think that you are leaving him. So, pursue your hobbies, participate part in activities you like, and keep yourself happy.
