Experts tell if cheaters can actually change

Look out for these signs

“Once a cheater, always a cheater…” Many people believe it’s almost impossible to trust someone again who has cheated on their partner. Even if the cheating person claims to never go through it again, the other partner always has some kind of doubts swirling their mind. It’s a common belief that if that person has cheated once, they will eventually do it again. Hence, to know if cheaters will actually change, an expert breaks down the signs of a serial cheater.

2/6

Disregard towards committed relationships

If your partner constantly questions the legitimacy of monogamous relationships, then it’s a sign they won’t stop cheating on you just once. They might do it again if they don’t believe in staying with one person for life.

3/6

Lying way too easily

Being an easy liar is one of the red flags of being a serial cheater. Chances are that your partner may lie constantly to hide their mistakes and guilt. A few white lies really don’t matter but if your partner indulges in too many black lies to cover up instances of infidelity, then yes, they may do it again.

4/6

Feelings of insecurity

Cheaters usually are very insecure about themselves. They often look for validation from others since they are not confident about themselves. They feel, if they indulge in infidelity outside their relationship or marriage, many people will be attracted to them. If your partner constantly asks you whether they are good enough for you or not, chances are high that they’re asking for it, from others too.

5/6

Indulging in excessive flirting

For some, a little flirting with others here and there keeps the spice intact in the relationship. For most, it’s not acceptable. But happens when your partner is always keen on flirting with anyone he sees? It’s not a good sign at all!

6/6

Acceptance

If your partner has openly admitted to cheating in their past relationships, then there’s no guarantee that they won’t in the current one. Such people never seem to commit to their relationships.

If your partner displays such characteristics, then they will probably never change.
