Here is what they shared anonymously

Being a businessman’s wife is not as easy as it seems as they all have different things to deal with. From being under stress to having extramarital affairs and being emotionally imbalanced to even posing as a trophy wife in front of her husband’s business clients at parties, here are some deets confessed to us anonymously by wives of businessmen.

2/4

There are no emotions left

There was a time when I loved him so much. The fact that he worked so hard to give me all kinds of happiness and came back to me, made me so happy. But, eventually, the routine made it all monotonous. He would just work, work and work. We would go on holiday every 3 months but there too, he would book the best hotels and cruises but was busy with his work the entire time, coordinating on the phone with different clients. I don’t know whether the will to give me all materialistic things got him addicted to his work or what, but our marriage became so empty after 3 years. We would have so much sex as you see in the movie 365 Days, but when emotions are squeezed out of it, what’s the point? Our marriage is on cruise mode and I see no future.

3/4

The stress is unbearable

His business was so smooth until the pandemic hit but after that, life has become stressful. He runs a cafe and a restaurant and the competition is immense. He remains under constant stress and that rubs off on our home’s environment as well. He has become so frustrated that it has made him a very short-tempered man. He yells and breaks plates when he is angry and I have never seen a more depressed man. I took to working again. I make a good amount but I think that too drives him mad (male ego). I am not sure whether being a businessman is a good idea or not.

We both are having affairs with different people

As a businessman, my husband has to travel a lot. He eventually started having an affair with his secretary and weirdly, I was okay with it. When I found out, I told him that he can keep at it but I never want to know a single detail. He was shocked of course but this made him respect me and love me more. However, after some time, I too wanted that sexual and emotional satisfaction when he would go on his tours. So he too asked me to go ahead but made me promise him that my affair would never happen in our bedroom. We both used the 3 other rooms in the house. Believe me, this is one of the best arrangements ever and we are really happy! The traffic flows both ways!
