7 signs you are more than friends

Sometimes our bond with a certain friend becomes so deep that we cannot live without him/her. You at times doubt your relationship whether it is just friendship or much more. You are in love as a friend or there is more to it. The lines seem to blur and denial may seep in. So to clear your doubts, here are a few signs that tell you whether you are just friends or there is something more brewing.

You contact each other but not every few days. It has become your daily ritual that you have to speak to him or her or else you won't be able to sleep. It is not a time to time conversation, but an everyday habit you can’t seem to let go.

Sometimes, you just know that you have a strong chemistry and a single touch screams its more than friendship. He/she puts their hand on your back or neck a lot. You two hold hands and it comes naturally to you. Note these small things unless you do this with everyone of your friends.

When we like someone we involuntarily and automatically mention the person in every conversation, in some or the other way. They way they refer to you or you refer to him/her, is not like that of “just friends”. How they say your name is also an indication as to what he/she feels about you.

Now not in a complaining way, but often a person who wants you to see him/her in a different way, keeps repeating that he /she is right there in front of you, single, with puppy eyes. They are saying that they want you to do something about it, make a move, but not directly.

You two do things that normally couples do. Spend more than the required normal time together. Shop together, eat together, even sleep on the same couch while watching TV when hanging out. You prefer being alone… but together.

Hugging each other, finding ways to be close to each other is another indication. When you snuggle into him, you feel at home, and it seems all natural.

He/she hanging out with other people makes you feel jealous. You feel bad when he/she talks about someone else (in a romantic sense) with you. These are all clear, screaming signs that you are in love with each other and are more than “friends”.
