 Make a fulfilling life

This is not yet another self-help guidebook to improve your life magically in a short span of time. Improving your life to the level to which you aspire is a work in progress. It takes effort and demands time and patience. Sometimes you try everything possible to bring in more productivity in your life, but so much time is spent dwelling on how to bring more fulfillment to your life that there is not time left to actually implement it. Worry not, we have made a list of five habits that are actionable and can be easily made a part of your routine. These habits, if practiced religiously, are sure to make you feel better than 97% of people.

2/7

Wake up and go outside for some walking in the morning

Starting your morning on the right note sets the tone for your day. Make sure you are up and about as soon as the alarm rings, don’t put it on snooze. Leave your bed and get some sun. Morning sunlight is known to increase energy and reduce insomnia. Going for a walk is a good idea. Walking triggers the release of feel-good hormones- endorphins. While on your walk, think about three things you are grateful for, three things you want to achieve, and three changes you want to make in your personal relationships.

3/7

Try new things

Do you get repeated thoughts about how boring your life is with the same monotonous habits of going to work, coming back, eating, and sleeping? The cycle seems to keep going, while you sit down waiting for that one day when you’ll use all the pending leaves and go on vacation. To break the cycle, you need to try things often; this makes you look forward to each new day and life in general. Don’t preserve your leaves rather use any opportunity you can get. During that time go for a small trip, hike, weekend getaway, or try your hobbies. This will re-energise your spirits and get you going once again.

4/7

Look your best

Not putting in effort to look presentable is not a sign of you saving some time in the morning but a sign of you not taking yourself seriously. You might have often heard, treat your body like a temple. The idea is not to spend thousands of bucks on clothes, make-up, and skincare but just enough to look presentable. Take a bath every day, and look put-together with well-fitting clothes and combed hair.

5/7

Make a list of priorities

Some areas of our lives need more attention than others, everyone has some issues going on in their lives that need to be addressed. But we forget to work on them while we are too busy making our careers. While working hard, don’t forget to address issues like sinking relationships, with a partner, a friend, or family. Your finances, Heath- both mental and physical. If left on their own, instead of healing, they will become worse and re-surface in a way that is not manageable. So prioritize these issues and work on them; they will make you feel in control of things once again.

6/7

Prioritise your health

You need to be healthy in order to do so many things that you set forth to do in life. Being tired all throughout the day is a sign of you lacking energy. It is probably because of not having a full sleep. Try reducing your screen time before you go to bed, instead read a book, it will help you sleep better. To have more stamina to do your daily activities the next day, try to incorporate daily exercise into your life. Stay hydrated; it gives you more clarity to think things through. As your health improves, you will start seeing marked improvements in your life.
