4 unexpected signs you're dating a liar

When you are dating someone, there are several inhibitions and doubts lurking on the surface of our conversations. But how do you know that what he or she is saying is true? It could all be lies as well. So here are some unexpected giveaways that you must keep tabs on and check if he is lying or not.

2/5

Fact check

Some pathological liars have a habit to throw “facts” at you which can very much be false if you cross check them. They will say it in a very convincing way so you may not even realise. However, after a few days or hours when least expected, cross question in another way. Keep having these conversations and check for loopholes.

3/5

Things don’t add up

Besides the great storytelling, even if you set them aside, he/she may have told you something about a friend or someone. Refer to that incident again and if it catches them off guard, you will know by the reaction you get.

4/5

Secretive

There are many people who like to be very secretive. This is a very unsettling trait for the other indeed. When you are seeing someone, you are a couple, you have to be open with each other. Yes privacy is important as well but there has to be a balance as well. If someone is wishy-washy about his friends, or job, family, or other aspects where he or she should not be, then that is a red flag you need to have a conversation about.

5/5

Bag of excuses

Once or twice is alright but you cannot have excuses for everything. And liars have that galore! They use excuses to dodge any blame, no matter what. They do not consider the consequences or take any ownership either.
