After divorce with Nicole Kidman, is Keith Urban regretting the split?

Hollywood's golden couple is not together anymore, and Keith Urban is reportedly having a serious case of remorse. After 19 years of being married to Nicole Kidman, their September 2025 divorce hit headlines - with Nicole filing the papers but Keith allegedly pulling the trigger. Fast-forward to January 2026: their divorce settlement is signed amicably, and primary custody of their daughters is given to Nicole. But now, rumours are rife that Keith is regretting his divorce decision. The singer is lonely, exhausted, and drowning in regret. Here's why:

Nicole and Keith's mutual divorce is now settled, with Nicole getting primary custody of their daughters, Sunday Rose (17) and Faith Margaret (15). Keith (also 58) gets 59 days a year - roughly every other weekend. Court documents stress co-parenting civility, as per People: “Behave lovingly and consistently with each child despite divorce.”




But with reality hitting hard now, an insider tells Star magazine that Keith feels crushed: “He's hurting, and there are some serious regrets starting to kick in... He misses the kids terribly, and he's finding it tough to deal with the harsh reality that his family is blown up.”

Keith is also hit financially - read lawyers, assets, and alimony - even though their divorce was “amicable.”

Nicole and Russell Crowe dating rumours

Meanwhile, the buzz is that amid her divorce and heartbreak, Nicole has now found solace in her old friend Russell Crowe, who is fresh from his own divorce heartbreak. If rumours are to be believed, the duo have daily calls, coffee meet-ups, and career pep talks. Insiders tell OK!: “He gets long-marriage devastation. Shows a soft side with her - pushing movie collabs to distract.”

And listening to Crowe's advice of throwing oneself into work to deal with heartbreak, Nicole has now signed back-to-back projects. But are they just friends, or is something brewing between the two? Romance is unconfirmed, as he is currently dating Britney Theriot (42), but Crowe's friendship with Nicole is feeding the gossip mills. And it seems to be bothering Keith, rumours suggest.



Keith's mystery rebound

In the meantime, Keith seems to have moved on too - with whispers of a “younger woman in music” being in his life, even before his split. While the name of the new woman in his life isn't out yet, an insider told Daily Mail: “The rumour is that he's with a younger woman in the business... It's all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that's a mystery.”
