Is Meghan Markle copying the UK Royals?

Former actress and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle seems to be controversy's favourite child. So much so that whatever she does, she ends up making the headlines. And, over the years, Meghan has been accused of copying Diana, Kate Middleton, and other Royals despite leaving her position as senior member of the UK royal family in 2020. Let's have a look at some of her royal controversies:

Her love for jam-- copying Queen Elizabeth?

It is well known that the late Queen Elizabeth II loved her evening tea routine and she was very particular about it. On most days, Queen Elizabeth would take a short break in the evening to relax and sip her favourite tea, along with some toast and jam. Cut to the present times, Meghan Markle revealed her love for jam in her cookery show 'With Love, Meghan'. So much so that she also sells her 'homemade' products on her brand's website 'As Ever'. Now, is this copying Queen Elizabeth or mere coincidence?

Her love for gardening as a hobby-- copying King Charles?

Gardening is one of King Charles' favourite hobbies. So much so that he has also written books about his own garden at his private home of Highgrove! The King is also a Patron of the National Gardens Scheme since 2002, and he suppports many environment causes. Now, after people got a glimpse of Meghan's life in California, many are quick to draw resemblence between Meghan and King Charles' love for gardens and growing organic produce. Many people have also accussed Meghan of simply copying the King, instead of being an active gardener.

Her accusations against the UK Royal family reminds people of Princess Diana

The Princess of Wales-- Diana was fondly called the 'People's Princess', and rightly so! Princes Diana's kind and empathetic nature made many relate to her, and she also gained much sympathy from people worldover when she revealed how she was ill-treated by the UK royal family members in the 1980s and 90s. On the other hand, Meghan Markle too accused the UK Royal family and the Crown of racism and ill-treating her after she left them in 2020-- first in her explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, and later in the Netflix show 'Harry & Meghan'. However, this time people noticed how her accusations against the UK Royal family sounded similar to that of Diana's. But, instead of gaining sympathy, Meghan has been much criticised by many people as they find her allegations absurd.

Meghan's recent no-makeup look at an interview reminded people of Kate Middleton

Princess of Wales (and future Queen of the UK), Kate Middleton is quite popular among the masses. Apart from being appreciated for being humane and kind, Kate is also much loved for her fashion choices. When it comes to her everyday look, Kate is known for opting natural, no-makeup looks that royal fans have loved. However, when Meghan Markle sported a no-makeup look in her first-ever podcast interview recently, netizens were quick to draw parallels between her and Kate. Some, even questioned if Meghan was copying Kate Middleton. What do you think?

When Meghan projected herself as a hands-on mom - People compared her to Princess Diana

Diana was a Princess, but to her kids-- William and Harry-- she was a mom first! From holding them in her arms when they were little to attending their parents ' and teachers' meetings, Diana was known for being a hands-on mom (which was rare for a royal to do) despite being a high-profile celebrity. Now, when Meghan does something similar with her children Archie and Lilibet, netizens are quick to notice and accuse her of copying Princess Diana.
