Sachin Tendulkar's trip to Tadoba: Lessons kids can learn from him
Learning patience
Respecting nature and wildlife
In his Tadoba trip, Sachin has used the opportunity to emphasize the significance of forests, animals, and conservation are taught that humans are guardians of nature, not its ownersTaking care of wildlife, refraining from littering, and giving space to animals are lessons children can learn through an innocent safari.
The need for discipline and silence
Like cricket, a safari too requires calmness. Loud sounds may alarm other animals. Teaching children that discipline is not punishment but a tool that achieves even better results is essential. Kids can learn about discipline and how it is important to stay connected to the nature.
Curiosity: Learning beyond books
Observing tigers, birds, and trees in their natural settings generates curiosity for children to ask questions from the world beyond the textbooks. Learning becomes fun when the concepts learned have connections with the real world.
The virtue of humility in the face of nature
Even the greatest sporting icon in the world, Sachin Tendulkar, has to be a mere spectator in the jungle. Nature teaches us that in spite of our greatness and success in whatever we do, we are equals in the presence of nature.
