Ajay Diwedi, a 50-year-old resident of Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, recently shared his journey to better health with the guidance of Patanjali Ayurveda and yoga practices. Ajay was admitted to Patanjali Wellness on December 28, 2023, and stayed until January 4, 2024. Before seeking treatment, Ajay had undergone routine health tests at Patanjali Wellness. His sugar levels were found to be significantly high, with readings at 245 mg/dL. Along with elevated blood sugar, other health markers were also affected. After following the Ayurvedic and wellness regimen at Patanjali, his sugar level reduced to 137 mg/dL, and post-meal sugar stabilized at 82.7 mg/dL. Other health parameters also returned to normal ranges.

He received therapies such as steam therapy with warm herbs, massage with medicated oils, and mud applications. Pranayama practices included Kapalbhati, Anulom Vilom, Bhramari, Bhramary, Udgith, and Bhramari techniques.Yoga asanas were also a key component of the regimen. Ajay practiced Shavasana, Vakrasana, Adho Mukha Svanasana, Gomukhasana, Mandukasan, Yog Nidra, Adho Chakra Asana, Adho Dhanurasana, Shalabhasana, Bhujangasana, Komal Chakra Asana, Paschimottanasana, Setubandhasana, Matsyendrasana, and Surya Namaskar among others. These asanas were designed to improve circulation, strengthen muscles, and support overall wellness.

Dietary guidance emphasized boiled and easily digestible foods, promoting balance in digestion and metabolism.
