​Kalaripayattu

This traditional art form from Kerala is one of the oldest martial art forms of India. This energetic form is inspired by moves of animals like lion, tiger, snake, elephant and cock. It is the secret behind the fitness of several celebrities like Vidyut Jammwal, Aditi Rao Hydari and Parineeti Chopra. With its combination of cardio exercises and flexibility drills, Kalaripayattu is an excellent weight loss activity. Its fast paced routines involve kicks, punches, jumps, squats and stretches.
