Winter is here and along with it, it brings all the laziness with it. You might not feel like waking up and going to the gym, or in the evening moving an inch from the bed. Along with the common cough, cold and fever it might be quite difficult to exercise. Check out these 9 winter fruits that can help you to maintain your weight during winters.

Grapefruit

Grapefruit helps in maintaining your immunity and apart from that makes you feel full for a long period of time thereby helping you in your weight loss journey. It is quite low in calories, high in fibres and reduces blood sugar. It is an ideal fruit for winters.

2) Pomegranate:- “Pomegranate contains a certain antioxidant called polyphenol that helps with good metabolism thereby helping you maintain the weight by preventing buildup of harmful toxins”, says Vidhi Chawla, Dietician, Founder, Fisico Diet Clinic.

Guava contains high amounts of protein that makes you feel full for a long time and thereby helps you avoid binge eating. They are quite low in sugar too which will help you lose weight.

Banana: This fruit contains a lot of nutrients along with antioxidants and fibre and makes you feel full thereby helping you reduce weight.

“Oranges are high in vitamin C which helps you boost immunity. It is loaded with minerals, potassium and fibers and is a low calorie fruit, helping you lose weight. It also helps in digestion,” advised Chawla.

Figs:- They are highly rich in fibre, nutrients and make you feel full for a long time. The ficin enzyme present in it helps in better digestion and helps with belly fat loss.

​Pineapple

It is a nutrient-dense food and contains a high amount of fibre. Pineapple also contains bromelain which metabolizes protein, that helps reduce belly fat.

Apples:- They are low in calories and are very high in fibre. They make you feel heavy for a long period of time. Therefore one doesn’t tend to eat a lot. It is rich in nutrients. This winter fruit is excellent for digestion too.

This winter fruit is rich in fiber and water and contains very low calories. It helps aid weight loss. At the same time they are very good for skin health. It helps control diabetes type 2, promotes good digestion and helps with belly fat too.
