Lose weight faster with these weight training hacks

It is common knowledge that a great workout regime can help one lose weight. In addition to cardio, weight training plays an important part in weight loss. Resistance training or weight training can help build lean muscle, which has other benefits as well. It is thus important for everyone to lift weights and practice weight training. Not only does it help reduce weight but also facilitates building a better body shape and improved strength. However, keeping certain things in mind can help make the process more efficient and speed up weight loss. A personalized workout routine

Every body is different, especially when it comes to genders. Women’s bodies work differently than those of men and it is therefore important to have a personalized schedule for oneself so that your hormones and other factors are regulated such that they make the workout beneficial.

3/7

Plan your work out according to your menstrual cycle

The menstrual cycle is divided into three phases- the follicular, ovulation and the luteal phase. During the follicular phase, workouts can be intense so as to reap the maximum benefits. However, the luteal phase should be characterized by less intense work outs and resting periods.

4/7

Eliminate the belief that you'll look manly

You should know that your body won’t look manly or ‘too muscular’ if you start weight training because of the difference in hormones and hormonal levels of men and women. Testosterone is the hormone which is responsible for muscle building in both, men and women but its levels vary equally in both the genders. Women have only 10% of men’s testosterone and are therefore not likely to develop manly muscles or bodies.

5/7

Don't hesitate to lift weight

If you wish to lift, then do not hesitate to do so. Begin with smaller weights and move on gradually to heavier ones. Weight training will help build lean muscle and tone out your body. It helps lose weight in a healthy way.

6/7

Focus on building strength

While you practice weight training, make sure that your primary focus is to build strength. Even though how you look matters, shape of the body isn’t as important as building strength is. It will motivate you to practice weight training further and improve your strength.

7/7

Don't give up

Lastly, it is very important to not give up on yourself or your efforts. You should plan your exercise and your diet according to your convenience. However, some days will inevitably be tough ones while others will glide smoothly. It is important that you don’t lose hope on the difficult days and give up entirely on the process.
