Park prepared herself for the new project

We have seen several actors going to extremes in order to portray their roles on-screen with perfection. But, Park Min Young's dedication has set a new milestone. The popular Korean actress has dropped 37 kilos for her new project 'Marry My Husband' where she plays the role of Kang Ji Won. The movie also stars Song Ha Yoon and Lee Yi Kyung among others.

'I was fascinated by Kang Ji Won'

“When I first came across the script, it was so fun that I read it all in one sitting. I was fascinated by Kang Ji Won, who is striving to live her life properly, and I had fun imagining how to portray her well," she told Soompi. “I tried to lose weight not just for the sake of being thin, but to express Kang Ji Won’s profound pain as much as I could," she told the media about her character who is a terminally ill patient.

Her dance workouts are an inspiration

Like most of the K-pop idols, Park follows a dedicated dance workout routine. Dance is an engaging and effective workout form that combines physical activity with artistic expression. It offers a dynamic way to improve cardiovascular health, flexibility, strength, and endurance. Additionally, dance enhances coordination, balance, and posture, promoting overall well-being. Whether in a formal class or dancing to favorite tunes at home, incorporating dance into a fitness routine not only contributes to physical health but also uplifts mood and fosters a sense of creativity and self-expression.

Strict diet

This is not the first time, the 37-year-old actor has surprised her fans with her weight loss. As per reports, she underwent a restrictive diet comprising only apples and liquids for three days and had lost 10 kilos for a movie.

Her diet plans are immensely popular

Given her popularity in the entertainment industry, Park's diet plan is extremely popular among her fans. However, one should not adopt this diet plan. Consult a professional before adding such extreme diet to your daily routine. Several factors are taken into consideration like age, medical condition, medications, etc. before deciding a diet plan. Celebrities are advised tailor made diet plans for the roles they portray.
