How does Hina stay fit?

The actress, who was most recently seen in Kasautii Zindagi Ki reboot gained fame during her stint in Bigg Boss 11. Hina has clocked in close to 10 years in the industry and has come a long way from how she used to look before. In fact, she is one of the only stars in the industry who sports a chiseled figure and washboard six-pack abs. Wondering what her secrets are? One of the fittest stars on television

Hina became a household name soon after she signed up for a hit television show where she was seen in a coy, demure bahu avatar. After 8 years, Hina quit the show but she was not able to switch away from the stereotype as fans, who were so used to her Indian avatar couldn't recognise her in western clothes. This was a turning point for the actress.

How Hina Khan shed weight

Wanting to change herself and break away from the stereotype, Hina worked really hard on her body and looks. Post the show, Hina gained around 7 kilograms but she wanted to shed it fast before she went into the Bigg Boss house. Hence, she turned to the gym and worked on herself.

Image transformation

Changing her image was the single biggest motivator for Hina to transform herself. She wanted to look better during her stay and continued working out even during her stay inside.

Breaking the stereotypes

In an interview, she said, "After quitting my show, I took my fitness really seriously. I consciously took this decision of changing my image from a bahu. I just wanted to look different and good. Somewhere it hit me that when I started my show, for the initial two-three years people used to see me as only a bahu. When you do a show for this long, you get typecasted. I got a stereotyped image. I have also played mother to a 20-year-old on the show, so for me, it was a task. But luckily my fitness journey went so well, so smooth. I started exercising, I started going to the gym. I will say that I am thankful to Almighty that I am blessed with a body that supported me back. People workout so hard for even 10 years and still aren't able to achieve the body they wish for. But luckily, my body type helped me lose weight really fast and I became fitter."

Hina's fitness regime

Hina pays special attention to her workout and diet. In fact, regardless of her busy schedule, she says she never misses a day of workout. She also makes sure that she eats in moderation and does not follow a diet.

Secret behind her chiseled avatar

Some of the exercises Hina follows are squats,TRX, leg-raise and sit-ups on a regular exercise. These exercises ensure that she pays attention to her core-muscles and abdomen area. They also bring stability and balance to the body.

Amazing fitness levels!

Post Bigg Boss, she was also seen as a participant on the reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi. Due to her extreme fitness levels, she emerged as a runner up and took fans by surprise. Even actress Katrina Kaif had praised her body while she was inside the Bigg Boss house!
