Easy tips to manage your weight

Planning a wedding isn't an easy task. From a never-ending shopping list to dance rehearsals, the entire daily schedule gets hectic as the wedding date approaches near. The sleepless nights, erratic meal timing and unhealthy eating habits eventually start showing on the skin and body. That's why for the couple getting married, it is essential to take extra care of their meal and physical activities before their wedding to look lean and gorgeous on their big day. We have a list of a few things that may help you maintain a healthy weight and look fabulous.

2/6

Stay hydrated

Amid the chaotic days do not forget to drink sufficient amount of water. If you are stepping out of the house more than twice a day, carry a bottle of water to stay hydrated. Water reduces the craving for unhealthy foods and also prevents you from overeating. It also keeps your skin healthy and gorgeous. You can also have bel sharbat, aam panna and coconut water to beat the heat and increase your quantity of fluid intake.

3/6

Limit sugar and salt intake

Try to cut down sugar and excess salt intake weeks before the wedding. Salt leads to water retention in the body and sugar contains empty calories that contribute to weight loss. Once the wedding rituals begin, you will anyhow eat sweets and spicy foods. So, try to cut it before to stay fit and healthy.

5/6

Eat fruits and veggies

Make sure to eat at least one fruit in the day. The best time to consume fruit is in the morning. Also, try to include healthy veggies in your diet. Fruits and veggies are loaded with fiber and essential nutrients. They can help you keep you fuller for a longer time and reduce the cravings for unhealthy foods.

Whenever you are going out shopping and to the salon, pack some healthy snacks like nuts and fruits. Snacking on healthy foods can prevent you from eating out and reduce the intake of fatty food items. It will also reduce the overall calorie intake and keep you fuller for longer.
