Use the power of copper to enhance your well-being

As the scorching summer sun beats down upon us, staying hydrated becomes more crucial than ever. While reaching for a glass of plain water is always a good choice, why not elevate your hydration game this season? Taking upon the age-old tradition of storing water in copper vessels could be the game-changer you've been searching for. Here is all you need to know about copper and discover the 7incredible benefits of drinking water from copper vessels during the hottest months of the year.

2/8

Prevents cancer

Copper isn't just a shiny metal; it's full of health benefits. A study published in the journal Molecules suggests that copper plays a crucial role in preventing cancer. How? Well, copper acts as a catalyst for various enzymatic reactions in the body, including those involved in oxidative stress and energy metabolism. By modulating cancer cell survival and inhibiting angiogenesis, copper may help reduce the risk of cancer development, making it a valuable ally in the fight against this deadly disease.

3/8

Provides a healthy level of hypertension

High blood pressure, or hypertension, is a common concern, especially during the summer months when heat can cause blood vessels to constrict. Copper has been found to regulate blood pressure by aiding in the dilation of blood vessels, thus promoting better circulation and reducing strain on the heart. By adding copper-infused water into your daily routine, you could help maintain healthy blood pressure levels and safeguard your cardiovascular health.

Benefits for thyroid gland

Your thyroid gland plays a crucial role in regulating metabolism, energy levels, and overall well-being. Copper is essential for the proper functioning of the thyroid gland, as it facilitates the production of thyroid hormones. By drinking water from copper vessels, you can ensure that your thyroid gland receives the support it needs to function optimally, thereby promoting better metabolism and energy balance.

5/8

Prevents anaemia

Anaemia, characterised by low levels of haemoglobin in the blood, can leave you feeling fatigued and lethargic. Copper is instrumental in the absorption of iron from the food you consume. Iron is essential for the production of haemoglobin, the molecule responsible for transporting oxygen throughout your body. By enhancing iron absorption, copper helps prevent and alleviate the symptoms of anaemia, ensuring that you stay energised and vibrant throughout the summer season.

6/8

Helps with arthritis

Summer heat can increase the symptoms of arthritis, making joint pain and inflammation more pronounced. Copper possesses anti-inflammatory properties that can help alleviate joint pain and stiffness associated with arthritis. Copper has been found to promote the production of collagen and elastin, essential components of healthy connective tissue. By adding copper-infused water into your daily routine, you can support joint health and mobility, allowing you to enjoy a pain-free summer.

7/8

Natural antibiotic

In an era of antibiotic resistance, natural alternatives are gaining popularity for their effectiveness and safety. Copper exhibits potent antimicrobial properties, making it a natural antibiotic. Storing water in copper vessels can help purify it by killing harmful bacteria and pathogens, ensuring that you consume clean and safe drinking water.

I always wondered why? There must be unkown health benefits but now known. The article should have mentioned the health effects & disadvantages of Drinking water from plastic containers. The “microplastics” are now showing up in human blood. You can write snother article on that subject,
