The time crunch

Human beings are inches away from being converted into full-time machines with their hectic schedule of work. We see people sacrificing their health and sleep for their jobs and errands, or to just achieve their dreams, and they forget the happiness of their bodies. We never drop plans or things for the important things in our lives, but we always treat our health as the last resort. However, our health should be our priority. However, in between all your busy errands and work, you can make time for your body and exercise in different ways.

Embrace hectic commuting

Many of us use our vehicles for transportation which only makes us lethargic. It’s time now to start the first step of exercising with a simple run, by using a bicycle for commuting, or by public transport. The travel time will increase and the schedule will become more exhausting, however, the steps you will be taking towards your destination will help you stay fit. It is a better option to save your travel allowance and also better than getting picked up by a personal cab.

Opt for group activities

It is always a better option to get your close ones involved in your schedule. You won’t just stay in shape, but being surrounded by your knowns boosts the motivating level and is a positive way of interacting with them. A good way to catch up regularly, you feel good inside out. There will always be a motivation waiting for you at your destination where you will be less likely to cancel a session where there are other people also involved, and thus it would fit into your daily routine.

Opt for a fun activity

Staying in shape does not always mean that you need to hit the gym. You can also opt for exercises that will keep you engaged and will be a fun time. Something that will provide you motivation to go and learn, where you are actively moving your muscles and feel like working out. One can opt for surfing, dancing, yoga, swimming, rock climbing, martial arts, boxing, and many other activities.

Built a routine

As you have your day scheduled for your office, errands, and meals, similarly try creating a space for your activity that you can easily fit inside your busy schedule. There is no need for you to put extra effort into creating the space but opt for such activities which would require your attention for a short period but give you a result after some time. However, at the end of the day, motivation and sticking to your plan remains the key to success.

Take the stairs

The elevator must go up but always remember it does not make your heart rate climb. Most of us live in shared housing complexes such as flats and apartments, where we are provided with lift facilities. However, ditch taking the elevator, and start taking the stairs for some floors until you reach your destination. Going up and down the stairs twice or even thrice a day can help in the boosting of blood circulation, and will charge your body, keeping you in shape.
