Perfect meal chart

It is a general perception that Indian food is not very healthy and should be avoided if you want to lose weight. But that is not true. Indian food items have all the nutrition one needs to stay fit and healthy. You just need to follow the right pattern.

2/8

Women mostly opt out of diets sooner than expected

Indian women are known to be most ignorant about their diet and health. Their focus is always towards making their family a healthy and nutritious meal than working towards their specific diet needs. While almost all diets recommend food items that require special cooking or effort and that is where most Indian women drop out after some time.

3/8

Always drink a glass of water before the meal

For Indian women who want to lose weight, the best way to curb overeating is by drinking a glass of water just 30 minutes before the meal. It definitely curbs the appetite and also speeds up the digestion process.

4/8

Breakfast

Have a protein-rich breakfast as you start your day. One of the best options is having sprouts salad punched with Rajma beans or Chana. This will keep you full for a longer time curbing any craving for munching.

5/8

Lunch

You do not have to worry about preparing a special meal for yourself. Just have a full bowl of Sabzi and Dal that you have prepared for everyone else in the family. Only change you need to bring is to not eat Chapati for lunch.

6/8

Evening tea

Chai is one of the most loved hot beverages of Indian households and one finds it very difficult to drop it for any kind of diet. Well, the good news is that you do not have to! Have a cup of tea with just two cookies. Try to take less on sugar cookies.

7/8

Evening snack

What! An evening snack is allowed too? Yes, since your digestion is pacing due to a planned diet and glasses of water just before every meal, you are bound to feel hungry in the late evening hours. Treat yourself with a bowl of snack - could be macaroni, pasta, sandwich or anything less on oil and that has vegetables and nuts too.

8/8

Dinner

Ditch Roti for dinner as well and include one cup of rice for yourself along with a bowl of sabzi. A bowl of raita, preferably vegetable raita, will add the probiotic needs of your body and keep your stomach cool as well in the summer heat.
