​Ash gourd is an excellent weight loss food

Ash gourd, also called winter melon, is a vine grown for its very large fruit, eaten as a vegetable when mature. The fruit is available in southeast asia. In India, it is known by the name safed petha and is commonly consumed in its sweet form. This does not mean you gorge into that ‘Agra ka petha’ right away.
