​What causes joint pain?​


Joint discomfort or joint pain is typically felt in the hands, hips, spine, knees and feet. Some people experience pangs of pain, throbbing pain or a burning sensation in the joint areas.

These seeds and nuts also have fiber, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and Vitamin E and are a good source of polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats which are healthy for the joints and are good for the heart as well.

In animal studies it has been found that cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower contain sulforaphane, a natural compound that inhibits inflammation in osteoarthritis.

Always opt for seasonal vegetables and make sure you wash it properly before consuming so that pesticides and fertilizers which are used during the cultivation are removed completely before cooking.​

One can have red peppers, salmon, oats, turmeric, garlic, ginger, spinach, and grapes for their joints.

While these recommendations are based on health reports and studies, one should consult a doctor before making any changes to their diet. Several factors like current health condition, chronic illnesses will be taken into account when a particular diet is recommended to anyone.
