Rita Devi, a 59-year-old resident of Ranchi, Jharkhand, had been living with diabetes and thyroid imbalance for over 22 years. During this long period, she relied mainly on allopathic treatment. For nearly a year, she required insulin injections of up to 40 units daily, along with other expensive medications. Despite strict adherence to treatment, she reports that her condition did not improve and daily life remained challenging.Looking for a different approach, Rita Devi decided to seek treatment at Patanjali Wellness, Haridwar. She was admitted from 21 April 2024 to 28 April 2024, where Vaidya Anuj Shastri and Vaidya Anjana Deshpande managed her case. Based on her medical history and current condition, the caretakers designed a personalized wellness program focused on holistic care.

According to Rita Devi, the treatment at Patanjali Wellness brought noticeable relief within a short period. She reports that her blood sugar levels became more stable and her dependence on insulin reduced under medical supervision. She also experienced improvement in thyroid-related symptoms, along with better energy levels and overall comfort.
Her treatment included traditional therapies such as hot water baths (Garam Snan), hot and cold compress therapy, knee wraps, and reverse walking, aimed at supporting circulation and joint health. Alongside these therapies, she practiced pranayama, including Anulom Vilom, Kapalbhati, Bhramari, and Bahya Pranayama, which helped promote respiratory balance and mental relaxation.
