What was your favourite childhood game?

Whether it was snakes and ladders or playing doctor-doctor with make believe equipment, we all had a favourite game growing up. Little did we know that these games were actually much more than just a medium to have fun or pass time. They play a huge role in determining our truest selves--our dreams, hopes, aspirations and even fears.

2/11

It can reveal your personality!

Hence, instead of taking personality tests, taking a look back at some of the games that you absolutely loved during your childhood can reveal a lot about the person you have become today.

Read on to see what your favourite game has to say about your personality.

3/11

Scrabble

You love words and you are proud of the fact that you act as a human spell-checker. You are very imaginative and quite likely a good writer (even if you don’t choose it as a profession.) Also, you have a pretty impressive vocabulary.

4/11

Snakes and ladders

You are very clearly a risk taker, who does not shy away from leaving the comfort of the known for unknown roads ahead. Also, you are a happy-go-lucky person who takes life one day at a time and does not spend a lot of time crying over lost opportunities.

5/11

Uno

If your favourite childhood memories circle around gleefully shouting Uno as you handover the last card, you are someone who doesn’t reveal all the cards till the last moment. You are a strategic thinker and a great planner. You also have the rare ability to deal with all the ‘wild cards’ that life throws your way, without really fussing about them.

6/11

Ghar-Ghar

If you remember playing with saucepans, plates and making laddoos from the mud, you have most definitely indulged in the game where kids imitate grown-ups to run a house. Every kid had a role to play--one became the father, someone became a mother and a child had to act like a baby too. If you loved playing play-house, you are definitely a warm person who does not shirk away from taking responsibilities. You are a calm fellow and everybody loves having you around because of your adorable personality.

7/11

Doctor-doctor

You were a pro at playing make-believe surgeon and were always ready to ‘treat’ others with the help of a pair of tweezers. Although it is unlikely that you have become a real surgeon, you are still quick with the names of medicines and are a pro with first-aid. You are an extremely organized person and like things to be in order.

8/11

Monopoly

You are clever and quick on your feet. You were one of the wiz kids during the math class at school and are still pretty good with numbers. Also, you are an introvert who needs to spend some time alone, in order to recharge your energy.

9/11

Chess

You are way too intelligent to be reading this slideshow, so we thank you for your attention. As a person, you have always been sorted in life and believe that rules are to be respected. You lead life by your own set of beliefs and do not blame anyone when things do not go as planned.

10/11

Chain-chain

If chain-chain was your favourite childhood game, we are pretty sure you have tonnes of friends and enjoy a huge social circle. You are the first person people call when planning any trip because of your ability to pool in people and plan things. Since, you are a born leader, giving directions and aiding people with their problems comes naturally to you.

11/11

Badminton

Your hand-eye coordination is still the stuff of legends, if you were an amazing shuttler during your childhood days. Your ability to mentally detach yourself from situations and focus single-mindedly in the face of adversity is enviable. Also, you know how to remain calm in stressful situations.
