The eating habits of UK PM Candidate Rishi Sunak

Rishi Sunak is a name that has been ruling the internet these days as he is emerging as the frontrunner for The United Kingdom’s Prime Minister’s race. He is a British Politician whose Twitter profile describes him as the ‘Member of Parliament for Richmond (Yorks). Standing to be the leader of the Conservative Party. The sugary food choices

As per numerous news websites, Sunak has a sugar tooth and is known to be someone who loves consuming foods high in sugar. As per an old interview with The Independent, Sunak once said that he is a total addict to a Mexican variety of Coco-Cola that’s sweetened with extra cane sugar. As per sources, Sunak loves to eat muffins, cakes, cookies & Cinnamon Buns every day. He is the perfect example of a young man, who loves to burn off the calorie but enjoy his favourite foods too!

The changed diet

However, as per a report in The Telegraph, one of his friends revealed to the Sunday Times that “Sunak doesn’t really eat much and can survive on just a Granny Smith apple and some cashew nuts.” The same report also disclosed that Sunak has taken to fasting ‘once or twice a week’. Sunak recently revealed to BBC Breakfast that he likes to have Hovis seeded bread. His actual response was, “It’s a Hovis kind of seeded thing. We have a whole range of different - we all have different breads in my house, a degree of healthiness between my wife, myself and my kids.”
