In a recent post on his official Instagram handle he shared a carousel post that celebrates sweet potato in 3 different ways as a healthy snack delight. He states in the post that sweet potato is nutritious and works well for quick snacks at home. For the unversed, sweet potatoes are a nutritious and naturally sweet root vegetable. They are rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Per 100 g, this root vegetable offers 86 calories and 3 g of fiber. It is also rich in vitamins C and B6, potassium, and manganese, making it a healthy choice for people of all age groups. They have a lower glycemic index than white potatoes (especially when boiled), making them suitable for diabetics when consumed in moderation. Loaded with vitamins A, C, and B6, along with potassium and fibre, sweet potatoes support overall health and immunity. They are also high in beta-carotene (which converts to vitamin A), they help maintain good vision and eye health. Ingredients: 2 sweet potatoes, 1–2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and salt to taste
Method: Start by scrubbing the sweet potatoes and then cut them into thick wedges. It is suggested to soak them in cold water for 20–30 minutes, as it helps remove excess starch and makes them crispier. Pat dry them and toss with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In the meantime, preheat the air fryer at 180°C for 3–5 minutes. Arrange the wedges in a single layer on the air fryer tray and air fry at 180°C for 12–15 minutes, then flip and cook for another 8–10 minutes at 200°C until crispy. Serve hot!

Ingredients: 1 sweet potato, 1 tbsp olive oil, salt to taste, ½ tsp paprika or red chilli powder and chaat masala
Method: Wash and peel the sweet potato and slice into very thin rounds. Soak them in cold water for 20–30 minutes. Pat completely dry and then toss with a little oil, salt, and spices. Layer them in the tray, and in the meantime, preheat the fryer at 160°C for 3–5 minutes. Air fry at 160°C for 8–10 minutes, then increase to 180°C and cook another 5–7 minutes. Let them cool down and your homemade chips are ready. Enjoy with chai or aerated drinks.

Ingredients: 2 sweet potatoes, 1–1.5 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp cornflour, 1/2 tsp paprika or red chilli powder, ½ tsp garlic powder, and salt to taste
Method: First, peel, wash and cut sweet potatoes into thin, even sticks. Next, soak them in cold water for 30 minutes. Pat dry thoroughly and toss with oil, cornflour and spices. Preheat the fryer at 180°C for 3–5 minutes, then air fry the fries at 180°C for 10–12 minutes, shake, and cook at 200°C for another 8–10 minutes until crispy. Add extra seasoning and enjoy the fries hot.
