
While we all love street food, it is important to take extra care of hygiene, as many street vendors fail to maintain basic hygiene. The carelessness can lead to major health issues, similar to what happened to 10 people in Greater Noida, who suffered food poisoning after eating momos from a street joint. At least 10 people, nine of them from one family, fell ill after allegedly consuming momos from a nearby shop in the Dadri area of Gautam Buddh Nagar district.
In a statement, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Narendra Kumar said that all the patients complained of stomach ache, fever and vomiting. It is reported that they purchased momos from a nearby shop and started feeling unwell after eating them.
Food Safety Department official Sarvesh Mishra said samples from the shop owner's premises have been collected and sent for laboratory testing. "Further action will be taken based on the test reports," he said.

Chew 2-4 garlic cloves for effective results. Garlic is known for its powerful antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties that can treat foodborne pathogens.

Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to 1 glass of water and consume. Lemon juice is a rich source of antioxidants that improve digestion and boost overall health.

It is an herb known for its antimicrobial properties, and it is suggested to consume it with honey to treat food poisoning.

It is proven to replenish the lost potassium in the body and help alleviate the symptoms of food poisoning. It is suggested to have 2–3 ripe bananas a day to treat food poisoning.
