Living a healthy life is not a choice, but a necessity that we often fail to understand. The credit goes to our hectic lifestyles that involves convenient food choices that are full of chemicals. Such habits lead to disorders and one of them is high levels of uric acid. It is a chemical that is found in blood, which is created when a substance called purine is broken down in the body. The worst thing about uric acid is that it dissolves in the blood and is excreted through the kidneys. It has been found that excessive formation of uric acid leads to the formation of solid crystals within joints which causes a painful condition called ‘gout’. In extreme cases, it leads to kidney stones and kidney failure as well. According to medical science, the normal range of uric acid in the human body should be 3.4 to 7 mg/dL for men and 2.4 to 6 mg/dL for women. In case it is higher than this, you definitely need to keep a check and start adding the below-mentioned food items to keep it under control naturally.
