Weekend is around the corner and if you are planning to host a house party, then we have some quick, easy and healthy Chakna recipes for your fitness freak friends who are always counting calories. Made with some simple kitchen ingredients, these desi Chakna recipes are super healthy and tasty. So, without a further ado follow us through these simple steps and nail these easy recipes.

​Malasa Channa


To make this easy snack, take 1 cup boiled chickpeas and toss it over a non stick pan with 3 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp olive oil, red chili flakes/red chili powder as per taste, ½ tsp kitchen king masala, salt and pepper to taste, toss till they turn slightly golden in colour. Garnish with coriander leaves and chopped green chili.

​Matar Masala


To make this easy snack recipe, take a pan and add 1 tbsp olive oil and add ¼ tsp mustard seeds, 2 whole red chilies, curry leaves and toss. Add boiled 1 ½ cup green peas followed by ½ cup grated coconut, 1 tsp red chili powder, salt, ½ tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder. Stir fry and serve with drinks.

​Peanut mix


Take a non-stick pan and dry roast the peanuts with some kosher salt, pepper and chaat masala. Serve with lemon slices and enjoy.

​Spiced Makhana


Make this easy recipe, chop 1 onion, 2 green chilies, ½ tsp ginger grated, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp amchur powder, ½ tsp roasted cumin powder. Next, take a pan and add 1 tbsp oil/ghee in a non-stick pan and add toss Makhana. Transfer to the bowl, mix with the masala and serve.

​Mixed Dal Bhel


Take ½ bowl soaked moong dal, ½ cup green moong dal and boil together in a pressure cooker. Strain the water and transfer the dal to a large bowl, add in 3 tbsp chopped tomatoes, 3 tbsp onion chopped, 2 green chilies, 2 tbsp red chutney and handful of chopped coriander leaves. Toss it together and garnish with sev and enjoy.
