Beetroot Idli

This is for South Indian food lovers. Add beetroot puree to idli batter, then steam idlis in the steamer and pair with coconut chutney and sambar. Smply blanch beetroot and blend into a puree and add that puree to the regular idli batter of rice and dal, or one can also make instant batter by combining semolina, curd, and oats, along with baking soda to get soft and fluffy idlis.

Beetroot Pancakes


To make this indulgent breakfast delight, blend boiled beetroot and add the puree to your regular flour pancake batter. Also, add vanilla essence and sugar and cook the pancake on a greased non-stick pan. Enjoy with some honey or maple syrup on top.

Beetroot Paratha


This goes well with curd and pickle on the side. All you need to do is mix boiled, mashed beetroot with whole wheat flour, a pinch of salt, and mild spices. Knead a dough, roll out parathas and cook on a greased tawa. Enjoy!
