​​Coffee grounds​


Yes, leftover coffee grounds can be wisely used to clean the stubborn grease from kitchen essentials like pots, pans, cooktop or slabs. Just sprinkle a small amount of coffee grounds mixed with liquid dish wash, let it stay and wipe off after 20 mins.

​​Olive oil and vinegar​


This simple solution can help you wipe off gunk and grease easily. Mix equal parts of olive oil and white vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray the mixture on a cloth or paper towel and let it stay for 15 mins, then wipe off the stainless steel appliances such as ovens or refrigerators, to remove grease and restore shine. Also, ensure that the devices are unplugged before cleaning.

​​Baking soda paste​


Baking soda is yet another traditional kitchen ingredient, which can be used to clean surfaces effectively. Make a thick paste by mixing baking soda with a small amount of water. Apply the paste to grease-stained areas such as cooktops, slabs, burners or oven doors. Allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes. Scrub the area with a scrub brush or sponge. Rinse and wipe the surface clean.

Combine lemon juice and table salt to form a paste. Apply the paste to the greasy spots on your kitchen surfaces. Allow it to sit for a few minutes. Scrub the area gently with a scrub brush or sponge.

This is an age-old solution to clean all types of dirt, gunk and grease, just make a solution by mixing equal parts of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Spray the solution on the greasy surfaces, including stove hoods, countertops, and kitchen appliances. Let it sit for a few minutes to break down the grease. Wipe the surface clean with a cloth or sponge, you can also rinse the pots and pans if needed.
