5-minute smoothie for a slimmer waist

Not all smoothies are created equal. Some are basically desserts in disguise, packed with sugar and heavy dairy that do nothing for your waistline. But this one’s different. It’s light, creamy, and works with your body, not against it. Whether you're dealing with bloating, cravings, or just need something quick and clean in the morning, this smoothie is easy to make and actually helps support a leaner, calmer belly. Scroll down for the recipe.

What you’ll need

A handful of spinach (you won’t taste it), half a frozen banana, a tablespoon of soaked chia seeds, a spoonful of peanut or almond butter, a pinch of cinnamon, and a few cubes of papaya or pineapple. Use water or unsweetened almond milk to blend.

3/4

How to make it

Add everything to a blender - greens first, then fruit, nut butter, chia seeds, cinnamon, and liquid. Blend until smooth. If it’s too thick, just add more liquid. Drink it cold, right away. Want to take it with you? Throw in a couple of ice cubes and pour it into a jar. Done in five minutes, no stress.

Why it works

This smoothie keeps things simple but effective. Spinach and chia seeds give you fibre that helps your tummy feel good and keeps you full without making you feel weighed down. Papaya or pineapple have these natural enzymes that help your gut settle and cut the bloat. A spoon of nut butter adds good fats that help your body use all the stuff it just ate, and cinnamon? Tiny but mighty — helps keep your sugar levels in check. Tastes great, feels light, and your body will actually thank you for it.
